Winter in Sneads Ferry is a great time to support your local business and we are happy to support the Riverview Cafe. I was very surprised with the quality of the food, even the boneless wings were fresh, almost as if they were made in house. Burger and fries were great and my wife enjoyed her salmon, shrimp, green beans and potato's. I wish the burger was priced with LTO' (extra) but that is about the only issue I have. We have been here a few times and I would say the service was on point and very friendly. Simply dining along the water and I would be happy to return.

Always open always great food always great staff! Last night I had 8 oz ribeye that was perfectly cooked to order with baked potato and okra all for $30. Well worth it and so refreshing to find a place to go that I don't have to take out second mortgage to pay for

Outstanding cook on three on our choices- oysters, shrimp, and flounder. Our party of 10 were Quickly seated on a late Thursday afternoon. They assigned 2 waitresses to our table. It was great that our Drinks arrived prior to our water. This is a typical southern local seafood joint that serves quality food!

Been going to riverview for the past 15 years. The food is always on point! The restaurant is small, so expect at ***least*** an hour wait during busy times. Wish they still had the lump crab dish; so tasty and was already de-shelled.

My family and I were in town because my father-in-law was being honored with a gold congressional medal for being a Montford point Marine. Some of the locals told us about this place. OMG! We absolutely loved this place. I had the fried shrimp, grilled scallops, and fried catfish and it was off the chain! All of our family members enjoyed their dishes. And the service there was phenomenal! I wish I could remember the name of our waitress, but she was fabulous! They started us off with some hush puppies! I typically hate hush puppies but these had a sweet flavor to them and they were delicious! If you're ever in this area, this is the place to go for some good seafood and good service!

The atmosphere is nice, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.l ordered the catfish sandwich with a side of small fries, and it was fantastic. The catfish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fries were just right--crispy and well-cooked. We also tried the calamari, which did not disappoint. It was served with a delicious marinara sauce and a wedge of lemon, adding a nice touch. Plus, they offered a complimentary appetizer, which was a delightful bonus. Overall, this is a lovely place with fair prices. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Big menu featuring lots of seafood, mostly fried. Fun dessert options. They post their daily specials on Facebook each morning. Great service. There are separate rooms where you could host private events and a bar area as well. Beautiful views of the water. Kind of a must do when you're in the area!

What a cute little spot with absolutely outstanding food! We stopped by this afternoon in our way to Wilmington. The Yelp reviews were good, and we thought to pop in and get lunch even though this was a bit out of the way. The restaurant is small and homey; it's going for an informal local restaurant feel. It has a bar area and larger restaurant area to eat, so while lunch was not busy I'd anticipated a much larger dinner crowd. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is so delicious. I literally couldn't stop with the complimentary hush puppies, which are tiny little balls of deliciousness. My husband and I shared 1/2 lb of shrimp, just so fresh and good. Complete with homemade cocktail sauce too! Yum. Finally, we shared a bang bang shrimp portion with broccoli casserole and beets. The breading on the shrimp and sauce was perfection. Sides were generous and delicious. This place has amazing food and totally worth stopping if you're in the area! You will be happy you made the detour.
